We had our wedding at the Rochestown Park Hotel on December 18th 2022. From the first moment we walked in and met Eva we knew this was the place to have our wedding. Eva is so friendly and down to earth. She took the time to go through all our options and offer suggestions on what would work best for us. The communication throughout the year in the run up to our day was excellent, so reassuring. Any time we met her we were also offered a complementary lunch in Suttons bar which was unnecessary but made us feel special. Colm took over as our wedding co-ordinator in the few weeks coming up to the day. He is such a pleasure to deal with. Again, easy to talk to and nothing was ever an issue. He is meticulous with detail and ensured he captured everything we were hoping for on the day and even let me steal one of his Christmas trees to use to hang our table plan! We had a cocktail reception as part of our package and I asked if it would be possible to do mulled wine as it was Christmas time and it was no problem at all. Honestly I cannot stress it enough when I say nothing is an issue for these guys. We got married in the Kiltegan room. We had viewed the room a number of times in the run up to the day and it’s a marvellous room but my God when I walked in there with my Dad to walk up the aisle it honestly took my breath away. One of the guests commented that “it was like a winter wonderland”. The staff are amazing. They were everywhere on the day. The service was exceptional, and the food was fabulous. Everyone is still talking about how great the food was and the amount of it they got. We have had so many comments about how generous we were and that is down to the hotel. I would advise anyone considering having a wedding here not to think twice. For what the hotel can offer in terms of service, quality of food and a genuine desire to exceed expectations, you will not find better.
