The Book of Ely is a Tipperary-based rock, blues and classic tunes band built around great musicians, big personalities and a genuine love of entertaining people.

At the heart of the band is Murty Ely, a lifelong musician with a passion for guitar, drums and percussion — particularly his beloved cajón.  

Joining him is Patrick Kiely (Guitar), an accomplished and versatile musician whose talent, musicality and ability to read a room make him an integral part of the band’s sound. 

Chris Jones (Bass) brings his own wealth of musical experience, musicianship and stage presence to the band.  And then there’s Jabin Ward (Saxophone) bringing his own musical talent, character and infectious energy to the line-up.
